COMMODITY TRADER / TRADING MANAGER

We’re looking for a Commodity Trader / Trading Manager to join our dynamic export and logistics team. In this role, you will manage the administrative and strategic operations related to the export of bulk raw materials. This includes planning, pricing, trading, freight coordination, and risk management to help maximize revenue and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• A 3-year commercial qualification with management accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in international logistics or freight
• Experience in commodity trading or treasury is a plus
• Clear criminal and credit record (South African nationals only)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sale and export of bulk raw materials and commodities
• Monitor international market prices and manage trading risks
• Plan and coordinate the logistics and freight of raw materials to global markets
• Prepare accurate reports and data to support business decisions
• Build strong relationships with customers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders
