SALES CONSULTANT
(Area): 1 x Consultant for Durban & 1 x Consultant for JHB
(Salary): R32K CTC per month
(REF: MC)
Role:
- 1 x consultant required for the Durban area & 1 x consultant required for the JHB area.
- Develop sales territory by securing new business in accordance with company goals and objectives.
- Growing volume and improving margins with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify new prospects and develop new business to increase customer base and sales/profits
- Identify business opportunities
- Qualify prospective customers and secure new business
- Retain and expand existing key customer portfolio’s
- Work to improve margins on existing business
- Achieve volume targets at required levels
- Knowledge, Skills and Ability Required:
- A tertiary education in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
- Candidates must have at least two/three years in the carton and print industry and be target driven.
- Experience in corrugated print and packaging will not act as an advantage, experience must be in carton and print.
