A stable, long‑standing organization is seeking a Financial Accountant to oversee the full accounting function and support the Finance Manager. This is a key role for someone who thrives on independence, leadership, and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance (articles advantageous)
  • 5–7 years’ accounting experience, with 2+ years in a senior / supervisory role
  • Strong management accounts, month‑end and year‑end experience
  • Advanced Excel & ERP systems knowledge
  • Solid VAT & SA tax expertise
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work independently

Key Responsibilities: 

Financial reporting, AP/AR oversight, cash flow, tax & compliance, team leadership, internal controls, and business partnering.
