Fancy Job Titles: causing more damage than good
The job description is very important while defining the roles and responsibilities of a certain position and what is expected out of that person once in the organisation. However, what helps in creating the hierarchy on papers in the Job Title attached to the role. If you are already sitting in the top management or the board of directors, the title really doesn’t create much of a difference, as what matters is the role and your work towards the organisation. While it stands true in all other cases as well, but looking at the nature of your work and the hierarchy that the organisation follows, job titles creates a difference.
