A New Year Is Coming — Does Your Job Still Deserve You?
The end of the year is crazy at most workplaces because the most common fiscal year end is December 31. If the end of the calendar year isn’t your company’s fiscal year end, it’s still the end of a quarter and with the holidays on top of that, you’re likely to be busy.
At the same time, your life belongs not to you, not your employer. Your career is yours to manage. As 2016 comes to a close, ask yourself: what did my job do for me (apart from providing a paycheck) this year?
